City Administrator

Rod Storm has been City Administrator since August, 1989. 

It is the City Administrator's job is to make sure the policy decisions made by the City Council are carried out, and that public services are delivered efficiently, effectively and equitably.

The City Administrator is responsible for:

  • Making recommendations to the City Council, which the council may accept, reject, or modify
  • Enforcing the Municipal Code and policies enacted by the City Council
  • Making budget recommendations to the City Council
  • Overseeing all city departments and directors / supervisors who are responsible for more than 50 employees
