Fire &
Rescue
The City of Blair is
served by a Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department. There are
currently (65) members on the Fire Department and (35) members on
the Rescue Squad Department. The Department averages (3) new
members per year.
In 2008, the Fire
Department responded to (289) calls which resulted in 159.85 unit
hours, 1725.67 man hours and 2376.5 training hours. The Rescue
Squad responded to (459) calls which resulted in 453.48 unit hours,
2077.41 man hours and 732.0 training hours.

The City of Blair has two
fire stations. The South Station is located at 16th & Lincoln.

The North Station is
located at 19th & Nebraska.

This facility was
constructed and dedicated in 2000.
