[ARCHIVED] 2023 City of Blair One and Six Year Plan

Project Map

Each year Blair along with all other Cities of the First Class must adopt a One- & Six-Year Roads plan to be eligible to receive road funds from the State.  Attached is a copy of the City of Blair’s 2023 One & Six-year plan for review and approval by the city council.

For 2023 we have Five (5) projects scheduled for the One Year Plan plus up to twenty (20) blocks of asphalt overlays that we are planning on having completed.  The asphalt streets project is listed as one project until I have a chance to review which streets will be included in this year’s asphalt street project.  Most of the other projects are related to new residential developments.  I have listed the projects below:

  • Phase One of the Blair South Bypass Project (FHWA/Local Funding)
  • Up to 20 Blocks of asphalt overlay (Local Funding)
  • Hollow Road improvements including right-of-way and grading with new culverts (Local Funding)
  • 10th Street between Flynn Drive and JoAnn Drive west side new curb and gutter with storm sewer and storm inlet (Local Funding)
  • Park Street from 15th to 16th Streets replace existing RCP storm sewer (Local Funding)
  • 16th Avenue replace curb and gutter on both sides of street (Local Funding)

  • Arthur Street GAP Paving from 2nd Street to Blaine Street (Local Funding)
