Project Map
Each year Blair along with all other Cities of the First Class must adopt a One- & Six-Year Roads plan to be eligible to receive road funds from the State.
For 2023, Five (5) projects are scheduled for the One Year Plan plus up to twenty (20) blocks of asphalt overlays. Most of the other projects are related to new residential developments, which are listed below:
- Phase One of the Blair South Bypass Project (FHWA/Local Funding)
- Up to 20 Blocks of asphalt overlay (Local Funding)
- Hollow Road improvements including right-of-way and grading with new culverts (Local Funding)
- 10th Street between Flynn Drive and JoAnn Drive west side new curb and gutter with storm sewer and storm inlet (Local Funding)
- Park Street from 15th to 16th Streets replace existing RCP storm sewer (Local Funding)
- 16th Avenue replace curb and gutter on both sides of street (Local Funding)
The Five-Year Plan has a total of eight (8) projects in addition to the projects listed in the One Year Plan as listed below:
- Arthur Street GAP Paving from 2nd Street to Blaine Street (Local Funding)
- Highway 91 at 23rd Street Intersection (Local Funding)
- 16th Street from Nebraska to Adams Street Widening Existing Street to Three Lanes (Local Funding)
- Nebraska Street from 10th Street to Highway 75 Widening Existing Street to Three Lanes (Local Funding)
- 1st Street from Highway 30 New Overpass over UPRR Tracks ending at 2nd and Jackson Streets (Local Funding)
- Garfield Road GAP Paving from Arthur Street to River Drive (Local Funding)
- 25th Street from Hollow Road to County Road 31 Grade and Improve Drainage (Local Funding)
- Highway 91 at UPRR Crossing (Quiet Zone) (Local Funding)
